This is the long awaited post on the Abbey graduation! Hee sorry I didn't post on this earlier. Will do now. :)
Abbey's A2 students' graduation 2011, 20th August 2011 at Novotel KL.
On the Thursday before the event, I was talking to Kok Weng on Facebook chat about our results which came out that day, and then I asked if he was going for the A2 graduation on that Saturday.
Kok Weng: AS IN GRAD? I WAS WONDERING, CAN YOU EMCEE WITH ME PLEASE?
Two days later.
Apparently, Jiann Lee was supposed to emcee with him but he chickened out. -.-
It was... bad. And very last minute I guess. Only got the agenda for that night's event one day before the event, and prepared script that same night. And we only managed to discuss our parts a few hours before the event, during the rehearsal. We only rehearsed our scripts twice and we had to go home and get ready. But yeah, for a first timer and being notified at the last minute, I think I did pretty okay. Personally I feel that Kok Weng did a better job though. I was fumbling around with my words most of the time. :/
